Born and raised in New York City, this Latino actor of Dominican descent has shown his versatility on stage, the independent screen, and television. His most recent television credits, which include appearances on "Onion Sports Dome" (Comedy Central), "Royal Pains" (USA), "Blue Bloods" (CBS), and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (USA) highlight the skills as well as immense drive of this talented actor.

While being exposed to acting as a child through elementary school and community theater productions, Alexis truly discovered his passion to perform while attending college. His work in college, which included a nomination for the prestigious Irene Ryan award for his final college production, ultimately sparked his ambition and desire to pursue a professional career as an actor. Since making that decision and fine tuning his skills in graduate school, Alexis' work ethic and ambition have led him to appear in countless theater productions with such groups as the Blue Coyote Theater company, the Dramatic Question Theater company and the Subterranean Theater Ensemble of which he is a member.

His diversity of skill in independent features such as "Park Sharks", the award winning films, "Film 101" and "Whirlwind", as well as the intense, made for cable television pilot, "Second District", have all shown his ability to adapt and excel at both the large and small screen.

Producing can also be added to Alexis' list of credits; He co-executive produced a revival of Laurence Fishburne's "Riff Raff" and co-executive produced and starred in the comedic short, "Yitzy", which is currently making the festival circuit and has recently won "Honorable Mention" at the Los Angeles Movie Awards.
